عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عَلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ، فَرَأَيْتُ أَسْمَاءَ قَائِمَةً عَلَى رَأْسِهِ بَيْضَاءَ ، وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَبْيَضَ نَحِيفًا ، فَحَمَلَنِي وَأَبِي عَلَى فَرَسَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ عُرِضْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَجَازَنَا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came with my father to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), and I saw that Sayyidah Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) was standing at his head. She was a woman of fair complexion. I saw that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) too was a man of fair complexion and slender build. He gave me and my father two horses to ride; then we presented ourselves before him, and he gave us permission.
