بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ

وَعَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لَمَّا أُسْرِيَ بِهِ : " إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَخْرُجَ إِلَى قُرَيْشٍ فَأُخْبِرَهُمْ " . فَكَذَّبُوهُ وَصَدَقَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ; فَسُمِّيَ يَوْمَئِذٍ : الصِّدِّيقَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ أَبِي الْمُسَاوِرِ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: On the night the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken on the Mi'raj, he said: I will go out to Quraysh and tell them about it. (When he told the people about it,) the people declared him a liar, and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) affirmed him, so on that day he was named al-Siddiq.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-A'la bin Abi al-Musawir, and he is matruk (abandoned).
