Sayyiduna Ma'n bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) states: A Bedouin came and took hold of the rein of the she-camel of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Prophet of Allah! Guide me to a deed that will bring me close to Paradise and keep me far from Hell. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have asked briefly, but you have asked about a great matter. Worship Allah Almighty and do not associate anyone with Him as a partner; perform the five prayers; fast in Ramadan; and whatever you dislike people doing to you, dislike that for them too."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain contains a narrator, Wa'il Abu Kulayb bin Wa'il; I have not seen anyone mention him.
