Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1397

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wipe over the leather socks and the turban for three days while travelling, and for one day and one night while resident.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Marwan Abu Salamah, and al-Dhahabi says: he is majhul (unknown).
