Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1394

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), regarding wiping over the leather socks, (the specified period of) three days for the traveller and one day and one night for the resident.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, al-Qasim bin Uthman al-Basri. Al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) says: hadith are transmitted from him in which he is not corroborated.
