Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1385

Ata' bin Yasar narrates: I asked Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), about wiping over the leather socks. She said: I said: O Messenger of Allah! Can a person wipe over the leather socks at all times, in such a way that he does not take them off? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes!"
Ahmad recorded it.
