Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13725

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever walks to see to a need of his Muslim brother, Allah Almighty shades him with seventy-five thousand angels who pray for him, and such a person keeps wading in mercy until he finishes; when he finishes, Allah Almighty records for him the reward of a Hajj and an Umrah." After this the narrator mentioned the full hadith. This narration has already passed in the Book of Funerals, in the chapter on visiting the sick.
