Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever removes some distress from a Muslim in this world, Allah Almighty will remove from him one of the distresses of the Day of Resurrection; whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah Almighty will conceal that person's faults on the Day of Resurrection; and Allah Almighty keeps fulfilling the servant's needs as long as the servant is occupied in fulfilling his brother's needs."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its last part is mentioned in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ubaydullah bin Zahr, whom a group declared thiqah (trustworthy) while others called him da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
