Majma al-Zawaid 13723 — The virtue of fulfilling needs
وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا يَزَالُ اللَّهُ فِي حَاجَةِ الْعَبْدِ مَا دَامَ فِي حَاجَةِ أَخِيهِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah Almighty continues to fulfil the servant's needs as long as that person keeps fulfilling his brother's needs."
