Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1372

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) continued to wipe over the leather socks until Allah Almighty took (the soul of) him (peace and blessings be upon him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Abi Layla, and he is da'if (weak) because of his poor memory.
