وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ : مَنْ رَغِبَ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ فَقَدْ رَغِبَ عَنْ سُنَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ ، وَنُسِبَ إِلَى الْكَذِبِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "Whoever turns away from wiping over the leather socks has turned away from the Sunnah of Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)."
