Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13713

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has granted some people blessings, and He keeps those blessings with them as long as they keep fulfilling other people's needs and do not grow weary. When they grow weary, Allah Almighty transfers those blessings to other people."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Amr bin al-Husayn, who is matruk (abandoned).
