وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ كَانَ وَصْلَةً لِأَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ إِلَى ذِي سُلْطَانٍ فِي مَبْلَغِ بِرٍّ أَوْ إِدْخَالِ سُرُورٍ ، رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ ، وَرَوَاهُ بِإِسْنَادٍ آخَرَ ضَعِيفٍ ، وَرَوَاهُ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ .
Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever conveys the matter of a Muslim brother of his to a ruler, through which he attains some good or some joy comes to him, Allah Almighty raises that person in rank in the lofty ranks of Paradise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains narrators whom I do not know. He also recorded it with another, weak chain, and he also recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat.
