وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْخَلْقُ عِيَالُ اللَّهِ فَأَحَبُّهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَنْفَعُهُمْ لِعِيَالِهِ " . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ الصَّفَّارُ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The creation are the dependants of Allah Almighty, so the most beloved of them to Allah Almighty is the one who is most beneficial to His dependants."
Abu Ya'la and al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Yusuf bin Atiyyah al-Saffar, who is matruk (abandoned).
