Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13688

Sayyiduna Imam Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty loves lofty and noble matters, and dislikes the base among them (matters)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Khalid bin Ilyas, whom Ahmad, Yahya bin Ma'in, al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) declared da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
