وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَهُوَ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ الْجَدْعَاءِ فِي حِجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ يَقُولُ : " أُوصِيكُمْ بِالْجَارِ " . حَتَّى أَكْثَرَ ، فَقُلْتُ : إِنَّهُ يُوَرِّثُهُ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ جَيِّدٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), during the Farewell Hajj, while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was riding his she-camel "al-Jad'a'", saying: "I urge you to care for the neighbour." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said this so many times that I thought he (peace and blessings be upon him) would make him an heir.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is jayyid (good).
