وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " فِي التَّوْرَاةِ مَكْتُوبٌ : مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُزَادَ فِي عُمْرِهِ وَيُزَادَ فِي رِزْقِهِ فَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ وَثَّقَهُ شُعْبَةُ وَجَمَاعَةٌ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "It is written in the Torah: Whoever would like his life to be increased and his provision to be increased, let him maintain the ties of kinship."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Sa'id bin Bashir, whom Shu'bah and a group declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Yahya bin Ma'in and others declared him da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
