وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا تَنْزِلُ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فِيهِمْ قَاطِعُ رَحِمٍ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو إِدَامٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed the angels do not descend upon a people among whom there is someone who severs the ties of kinship."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Idam al-Muharibi, who is a kadhdhab (liar).
