بَابُ صَاحِبِ الدَّابَّةِ أَحَقُّ بِصَدْرِهَا

Majma al-Zawaid 13229 — The owner of a mount has more right
وَعَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُعْتِبٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ : قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّ صَاحِبَ الدَّابَّةِ أَحَقُّ بِصَدْرِهَا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Urwah bin Mu'attib al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled that the owner of an animal has more right to its front.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
