وَعَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ : قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّ صَاحِبَ الدَّابَّةِ أَوْلَى بِصَدْرِهَا . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled that the owner of an animal has more right to its front.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
