Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: On the night the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken on the Mi'raj, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) looked into Hell, and there were some people there eating carrion. He asked: "O Jibril, who are these people?" He said: "These are the ones who used to eat the flesh of people." Then he saw a man of reddish complexion, with blue eyes and dishevelled curly hair, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "O Jibril, who is this?" He said: "This is the one who hamstrung the she-camel (of Sayyiduna Salih (peace be upon him))."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains Qabus, who is thiqah (trustworthy), and in whom there is weakness. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
