Majma al-Zawaid 13118 — Reports on demeanour and conduct
وَعَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْهَدْيُ الصَّالِحُ وَالسَّمْتُ الصَّالِحُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ قَابُوسُ بْنُ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
It is reported from the same Companion that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Good demeanour and good conduct are one part of the seventy parts of prophethood."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Qabus bin Abi Zabyan, who is thiqah (trustworthy), and in whom there is weakness. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
