Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13041

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A rooster crowed near the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and a man said: "O Allah, curse it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Stop! Beware, it calls to the prayer."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abbad bin Mansur, whom Yahya al-Qattan and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Yahya bin Ma'in and others declared him da'if (weak). The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
