Majma al-Zawaid 12998 — The prohibition of reviling time
عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" لَا تَسُبُّوا الدَّهْرَ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
" لَا تَسُبُّوا الدَّهْرَ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not revile time, for Allah Almighty is time."
