بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَشْفِي غَيْظَهُ بِسُخْطِ اللَّهِ
One who relieves his anger by incurring the displeasure of Allah

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" بَابٌ لِلنَّارِ لَا يَدْخُلُهُ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا مَنْ يَشْفِي غَيْظَهُ بِسُخْطِ اللَّهِ " . فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَهُوَ فِي بَابِ صِفَةِ النَّارِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ شَيْبَةَ الطَّائِفِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hell has a gate through which no one will enter except the one who soothes his anger through the displeasure of Allah Almighty." Then the narrator mentioned the full hadith, which will come later in the chapter on the description of Hell.
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Isma'il bin Shaybah al-Ta'ifi, who is da'if (weak); Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy). The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
