Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12987

Humayd bin Abd al-Rahman reports this statement of a Companion: A man said: "O Messenger of Allah! Give me some advice." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not become angry." The narrator says: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said this, I reflected on it for a while, and it became clear to me that anger gathers every kind of evil.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
