Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12985

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "What can keep me far from the anger of Allah?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not become angry."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, who is layyin al-hadith (weak in hadith). The remaining narrators of this hadith are thiqat (trustworthy).
