Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12975

It is not permissible for a Muslim to cut himself off from his brother for more than three days, such that when they meet, this one turns away and that one turns away. And the one (of the two) who is first to give the greeting of peace will be the first to reach Paradise." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This narration is reported in the "Sahih" in abridged form.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know.
