وَعَنْ أَبِي الْوَرْدِ قَالَ :
رَآنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَرَآنِي رَجُلًا أَحْمَرَ ، فَقَالَ : " أَنْتَ أَبُو الْوَرْدِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ جُنَادَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَنَسَبَهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ إِلَى الْكَذِبِ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu al-Ward (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) looked at me and saw redness in my face, so he said: "You are Abu al-Ward."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Junadah bin al-Mughallis, whom Ibn Numayr declared thiqah (trustworthy), while more than one scholar attributed lying to him.
