وَعَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ :
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَنَّاهُ أَبَا صَالِحٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جُمْهُورُ الْأَئِمَّةِ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hamzah bin Umar al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him the kunyah Abu Salih.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Ya'qub bin Muhammad al-Zuhri, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), while the majority of the imams declared him da'if (weak).
