Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12872

Sayyidah Ra'itah bint Muslim (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this statement of her father: I took part in the Battle of Hunayn with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He asked: What is your name? I replied: Ghurab. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You are Muslim.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, Abu Ya'la recorded it, and al-Bazzar recorded something similar. No one has declared the woman named Sayyidah Ra'itah (may Allah be pleased with her) da'if (weak), nor has anyone declared her trustworthy. The rest of the narrators of Abu Ya'la are thiqat (trustworthy).
