Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12807

In one narration the words are: "Whoever sends his gaze into a house without permission falls into ruin, and whoever leads people in prayer and supplicates only for himself and not for the people has betrayed them."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and Imam Ahmad recorded the second narration. The first chain contains al-Safr bin Nusayr, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy) while others declared him da'if (weak), and Abdullah bin Raja' al-Shaybani, whom I do not know. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
