وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ ، فَجَعَلَ يُحَدِّثُهُ عَنِ الْمُخْتَارِ . فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : إِنْ كَانَ كَمَا تَقُولُ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ ثَلَاثِينَ دَجَّالًا كَذَّابًا "
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man from the people of Kufah was with him, and he began telling him about al-Mukhtar. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: If it is really as you describe, then I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Before the Hour there will be thirty dajjals, liars."
