وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ الرَّجُلُ لَا يُسَلِّمُ إِلَّا لِلْمَعْرِفَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ كُلَّهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ بِبَعْضِهِ ، وَزَادَ " وَأَنْ يَجْتَازَ الرَّجُلُ بِالْمَسْجِدِ فَلَا يُصَلِّي فِيهِ " .
رَوَاهُ كُلَّهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ بِبَعْضِهِ ، وَزَادَ " وَأَنْ يَجْتَازَ الرَّجُلُ بِالْمَسْجِدِ فَلَا يُصَلِّي فِيهِ " .
In one narration the words are: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the signs of the Hour is that a man will give the greeting of peace, but he will greet only those he knows." Imam Ahmad recorded all of these narrations, and Imam al-Bazzar recorded some of them, with these additional words: "A man will pass through a mosque but will not pray in it."
