وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَظْهَرَ الْفِتَنُ ، وَيَكْثُرَ الْكَذِبُ ، وَتَتَقَارَبَ الْأَسْوَاقُ ، وَيَتَقَارَبَ الزَّمَانُ ، وَيَكْثُرَ الْهَرْجُ " ، قُلْتُ : وَمَا الْهَرْجُ ؟ قَالَ : " الْقَتْلُ " .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرُ قَوْلِهِ : " وَيَكْثُرَ الْكَذِبُ ، وَتَتَقَارَبَ الْأَسْوَاقُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرُ قَوْلِهِ : " وَيَكْثُرَ الْكَذِبُ ، وَتَتَقَارَبَ الْأَسْوَاقُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The Hour will not be established until tribulations appear, lying becomes widespread, the markets draw close together, time draws close together, and harj becomes abundant. The narrator says: I asked: 'What is meant by harj?' He said: 'Killing and bloodshed.'" (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This report is mentioned in the "Sahih", but these words are not in it: "Lying will become abundant and the markets will draw close together."
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Sa'id bin Sam'an, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
