Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Among the signs of the Hour is that miserliness and indecency will spread, the treacherous person will be entrusted, the trustworthy person will be declared treacherous, garments will appear that women will wear and yet, despite wearing them, they will be naked, and the tuhut will prevail over the wu'ul. The narrator says: He asked: "O Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), did you hear it this way from my beloved?" He said: "By the Lord of the Ka'bah! Yes." We asked: "What is meant by tuhut?" He said: "The base people and those who live in obscure houses; they will be raised above their righteous ones. And wu'ul means the people of righteous households." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: In the "Sahih" only the hadith of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) is narrated, and only part of it is mentioned. The narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Muhammad bin al-Harith bin Sufyan, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
