بَابٌ فِيمَنْ دَاهَنَ وَسَكَتَ عَنِ الْحَقِّ وَأَهْلِ زَمَانِهِمْ .
One who compromises and keeps silent about the truth, and the people of their time

وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ " يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ هُمْ ذِئَابٌ ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ ذِئْبًا أَكَلَتْهُ الذِّئَابُ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A time will come upon people when they will be wolves, and whoever is not a wolf, the wolves will devour him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain contains narrators whom I do not know.
