وَعَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسِ بْنِ فَهْدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِكَفَّارَاتِ الْخَطَايَا ؟ " قَالُوا : بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ : إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عِنْدَ الْمَكَارِهِ ، وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ ، وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ . وَلَهُ إِسْنَادٌ آخَرُ رِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ كُلُّهُمْ .

Sayyidah Khawlah bint Qays bin Fahd (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about the things that become an expiation for sins? The people said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah! He said: Performing ablution thoroughly at times when it is disagreeable to one's nature, taking many steps to the mosque, and waiting for the next prayer after a prayer."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah.
It is also reported with another chain, all of whose narrators have been declared trustworthy.
