وَعَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَيْثَمٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَدَّتَيْ عُبَيْدَةَ بِنْتَ عَمْرٍو الْكِلَابِيَّةَ تَقُولُ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - تَوَضَّأَ وَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ خَيْثَمٍ لَمْ أَجِدْ لَهُ سَمَاعًا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ ، وَقَدْ رَوَى قَبْلَ هَذَا عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ عَنْ أَبِيهَا . وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ خَيْثَمٍ لَمْ أَجِدْ لَهُ سَمَاعًا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ ، وَقَدْ رَوَى قَبْلَ هَذَا عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ عَنْ أَبِيهَا . وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
Sa'id bin Khaytham narrates: I heard my grandmother, Sayyidah Ubaydah bint Amr al-Kilabiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), say: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing ablution, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution thoroughly.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy, except that I have not found that Sa'id bin Khaytham heard from any of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them); before this he narrated from his grandmother, from her father. And Allah knows best.
