Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Soon you will continue to be tested (sifted), until you remain among the dregs of people, whose covenants have become mixed up and whose trusts have been ruined. One of us said: O Messenger of Allah, what should we do then? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Act upon what you recognise as good, abandon what you regard as munkar, and say: O One, O One! Help us against the one who has wronged us, and suffice us against the one who has transgressed against us."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain contains narrators whom I do not know.
