وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِذَا رَأَيْتَ أُمَّتِي تَهَابُ الظَّالِمَ أَنْ تَقُولَ لَهُ : أَنْتَ الظَّالِمُ فَقَدْ تُوُدِّعَ مِنْهُمْ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَأَحَدُ إِسْنَادَيِ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَكَذَلِكَ إِسْنَادُ أَحْمَدَ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ وَقَعَ فِيهِ فِي الْأَصْلِ غَلَطٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When you see my Ummah afraid of the oppressor, (afraid) to say to him: 'You are an oppressor,' then the time of their farewell will have come."
Ahmad, al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it. In one of al-Bazzar's chains the narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, and the same is true of Ahmad's chain, except that an error occurs in it in the original.
