Book of Tribulations (may Allah protect us from them)
بَابٌ فِيمَا كَانَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَالسُّكُوتِ عَمَّا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ .
What occurred between the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and keeping silent about their disputes

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ حَفِظَنِي فِي أَصْحَابِي وَرَدَ عَلَى حَوْضِي ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْفَظْنِي فِي أَصْحَابِي لَمْ يَرَنِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعِيدٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ حَبِيبٌ كَاتِبُ مَالِكٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever guards my honour regarding my Companions will come to my Pond, and whoever does not guard my honour regarding my Companions will see me on the Day of Resurrection only from afar."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Habib, the scribe of Imam Malik, who is matruk (abandoned).
