Book of Tribulations (may Allah protect us from them)
بَابٌ فِيمَا كَانَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَالسُّكُوتِ عَمَّا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ .
What occurred between the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and keeping silent about their disputes

وَعَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ كَانَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ كَلَامٌ ، فَذُكِرَ خَالِدٌ عِنْدَ سَعْدٍ فَقَالَ : مَهْ ، فَإِنَّ مَا بَيْنَنَا لَمْ يَبْلُغْ دِينَنَا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Tariq bin Shihab narrates: Once there was a dispute between Sayyiduna Khalid bin al-Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) was mentioned negatively in the presence of Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said: "Stop! For the disagreement that is between us has not reached our religion."
