Majma al-Zawaid 11927 — Deeds are judged by their endings

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not marvel at the deed of any doer until you see what his end is upon."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Fadal bin Jubayr, who is da'if (weak).
