Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1103

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The ritual bath is with one sa', and ablution with one mudd (of water)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this report in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain contains a narrator, Hakim bin Nafi', whom Abu Zur'ah declared "da'if" (weak) and Yahya bin Ma'in declared "thiqah" (trustworthy). Ibn Adi says: the reports he narrates are not very munkar (objectionable).
