Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1102

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), similar to this.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) was recorded by Imam Abu Dawud and others, while the hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) revolves around a narrator named Muslim bin Kaysan al-Mula'i. Shu'bah and Sufyan narrated hadith from him, but a large group (of scholars) declared him "da'if" (weak), and some of them said that he suffered from ikhtilat (memory deterioration). It appears that Shu'bah and Sufyan would have narrated from him only those reports which the two of them heard from him before his memory deteriorated. And Allah knows best.
