قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيضِ وَقَوْلُهُ : نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ .
The saying of Allah the Exalted: "And they ask you about menstruation", and His saying: "Your wives are a place of cultivation for you"

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَصَابَ امْرَأَةً فِي دُبُرِهَا زَمَنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ النَّاسُ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ : نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَضَعَّفَهُ الْأَكْثَرُونَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: In the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a man had intercourse with his wife in her rear passage, and the people objected to it, so Allah Almighty revealed this verse: "Your wives are a tilth for you."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ya'qub bin Humayd bin Kasib, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), while most declared him da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
