بَابٌ فِي مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهِدًا أَوْ أَخَفَرَ ذِمَّةً .

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا عَدْوَى ، وَلَا صَفَرَ ، وَلَا هَامَ ، وَلَا يُتِمُّ شَهْرَانِ ، وَمَنْ أَخْفَرَ بِذِمَّةٍ لَمْ يَرِحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ صَدَقَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السَّمِينُ ، وَثَّقَهُ دُحَيْمٌ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "There is no reality to (disease) being contagious, nor to Safar (being ill-omened), nor to the hamah; two months are not completed; and whoever violates a covenant of protection will not smell the fragrance of Paradise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Sadaqah bin Abdullah al-Samin, whom Duhaym and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Ahmad and others declared him da'if (weak).
