وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ : أَنَّ زِنْبَاعًا أَبَا رَوْحٍ وَجَدَ مَعَ غُلَامٍ لَهُ جَارِيَةً لَهُ ، فَجَدَعَ أَنْفَهُ وَجَبَّهُ ، فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا بِكَ ؟ " . قَالَ : زِنْبَاعٌ ، فَدَعَاهُ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى هَذَا ؟ " . فَقَالَ : كَانَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ كَذَا وَكَذَا .
فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لِلْعَبْدِ : " اذْهَبْ فَأَنْتَ حُرٌّ " . فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَوْلَى مَنْ أَنَا ؟ فَقَالَ : " مَوْلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ " فَأَوْصَى بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الْمُسْلِمِينَ .
فَلَمَّا قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - جَاءَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، فَقَالَ : وَصِيَّةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَ : نَعَمْ ، تَجْرِي عَلَيْكَ النَّفَقَةَ وَعَلَى عَيَالِكَ ، فَأَجْرَاهَا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى قُبِضَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، فَلَمَّا اسْتُخْلِفَ عُمَرُ جَاءَهُ ، فَقَالَ : وَصِيَّةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ ؟ قَالَ : مِصْرَ فَكَتَبَ عُمَرُ إِلَى صَاحِبِ مِصْرَ أَنْ يُعْطِيَهُ أَرْضًا يَأْكُلُهَا .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ بِاخْتِصَارٍ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ . وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ لَهُ طَرِيقٌ فِي الْعِتْقِ .
فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لِلْعَبْدِ : " اذْهَبْ فَأَنْتَ حُرٌّ " . فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَوْلَى مَنْ أَنَا ؟ فَقَالَ : " مَوْلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ " فَأَوْصَى بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الْمُسْلِمِينَ .
فَلَمَّا قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - جَاءَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، فَقَالَ : وَصِيَّةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَ : نَعَمْ ، تَجْرِي عَلَيْكَ النَّفَقَةَ وَعَلَى عَيَالِكَ ، فَأَجْرَاهَا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى قُبِضَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، فَلَمَّا اسْتُخْلِفَ عُمَرُ جَاءَهُ ، فَقَالَ : وَصِيَّةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ ؟ قَالَ : مِصْرَ فَكَتَبَ عُمَرُ إِلَى صَاحِبِ مِصْرَ أَنْ يُعْطِيَهُ أَرْضًا يَأْكُلُهَا .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ بِاخْتِصَارٍ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ . وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ لَهُ طَرِيقٌ فِي الْعِتْقِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Zinba' Abu Rawh found his slave girl with his slave, so he cut off his slave's nose and cut off his private part. The slave came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him: "Who did this to you?" The slave said: "Zinba'." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) summoned Zinba' and said: "Why did you do this?" He said that the slave had committed such-and-such an offence. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the slave: "Go, you are free." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, whose freedman will I be counted?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will be counted the freedman of Allah and His Messenger." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) enjoined the Muslims regarding that slave. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, that slave came to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "Do something according to the instruction of Allah and His Messenger." Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Very well; you will receive an allowance, and your family will receive an allowance." Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) fixed his allowance until Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away. When Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) became caliph, he came to Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "About the bequest of the Messenger of Allah (what will you do)?" He said: "Very well; what do you want?" He said: "I want to go to Egypt." So Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote a letter to the governor of Egypt that he be given enough land to live off. (Allamah Haythami says:) I say:
