It is narrated from a man of Banu Tamim, one of the early ones, who was a grown man in the time of Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him), reporting from his father that he met the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, write a document for me that I will not be seized for the crime of anyone else." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is granted to you, and it is granted to every Muslim."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator who is not named, and the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
